In reply, the Pakistani team could score only 113 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Rohit Sharma's army won the match by six runs thanks to Jasprit Bumrah's deadly bowling. The fast bowler took a total of three wickets in this match. He conceded just 14 runs at an economy rate of 3.50 in his four-over spell and turned the match in India's favor. He was adjudged the Player of the Match for this brilliant performance. Earlier in the 2023 ODI World Cup, Bumrah took two wickets for 19 runs against Pakistan and became the Player of the Match.

 

The Indian team defended the lowest score

India has defended the lowest total in the T20 World Cup. In this case, they equaled Sri Lanka. Both have defended the target of 120 runs.
