Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Rahul Tripathi has performed brilliantly for the team this season. He scored 76 against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, keeping Hyderabad's hopes of reaching the IPL 2022 playoffs alive. After seeing this innings, former Team India head coach Ravi Shastri claimed that the Maharashtra batsman is not far away from being a part of the national team.
Right-handed batsman Rahul Tripathi played brilliant innings of 76 runs in 44 balls with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. During this, his strike rate was more than 172. To this Ravi Shastri said, "Tripathi is not far away from being a part of the Indian team. He is a dangerous player at No. 3 or 4. Shastri said, "Tripathi is a very confident player. What I like best is that he has a good selection of shots. He hits every bowler understanding their length. He has a good shot with every ball. He's got the shot, so he's an impressive player."
