The campaign for the seventh and final phase of voting to be held on June 1 ended in the evening. Since the announcement of the election schedule by the Election Commission on March 16, Modi held 206 rallies and road shows across the country till Thursday evening, that is, four to five rallies and road shows every day.
During the election campaign, Prime Minister Modi also gave a total of 80 interviews to regional and national media institutions. In this way, he set a record of marathon campaigning. The Prime Minister had held about 145 rallies and road shows during the 2019 general elections. In this way, he held more rallies this time than in the last election. However, this time the campaign period was 76 days, whereas in the elections held five years ago, this period was 68 days.

Modi gave an average speech of 45 minutes in each election rally. In this way, he gave his address for about 155 hours. Not only this, he also answered more than a thousand questions during interviews. When the Election Commission announced the elections, Modi was on a political tour of South India. He covered all the five states in these three days between March 15 and 17.
