Weather Update Today: IMD's latest update on monsoon, yellow alert in 16 states including MP-Chhattisgarh

The monsoon is slowly starting to weaken. Monsoon is likely to depart in the next few days. It is still raining in many states of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 16 states today i.e. on 28 September. Light to moderate rain with strong winds may occur over these states. On the other hand, heavy rain warning has been issued in parts of Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, the weather will remain dry in the states like Delhi, UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, etc. These states will remain cloudy but there is no chance of rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, on Wednesday, September 27, there will be strong winds in some parts of East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra. With light to moderate rain is likely. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some states.

 

Possibility of lightning with rain in these districts of MP

 

The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert in the eastern region of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday and has also given a warning. There is a possibility of lightning at isolated places in the Rajgarh, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Sagar, Damoh, and Chhatarpur districts of the Narmadapuram, Shahdol, and Jabalpur divisions. According to the meteorologists, the rain activities in the state have started weakening now. It can also be considered a sign of the departure of the monsoon.

 

Rain may occur in these districts of Rajasthan

 

The farewell of the monsoon started in Rajasthan. The monsoon is likely to leave the entire state by October 5. However, meteorologists have predicted rain in the coming monsoon as well. Rain may occur in 6 districts of the state. Weather experts have predicted rain in Udaipur, Rajsamand, Dungarpur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, and Pratapgarh districts in the next four days.

 

What is the update of the Meteorological Department on the monsoon?

 

According to the Meteorological Department, conditions will become favorable for the withdrawal of the Monsoon from some more parts of Northwest India and adjoining parts of Central India during the next 3-4 days. Meanwhile, rain activities will also be seen in many states.
