Congress leader Rahul Gandhi surrounded the Modi government on Sunday by raising the issue of China in Britain. Rahul said that the opposition is not allowed to raise the issue of the intrusion of Chinese troops into India in Parliament.
Rahul was giving a speech in Hounslow, London on Sunday among 1500 overseas Indians. Rahul said in the India Insights program of the Indian Journalist Association on Sunday itself – India needs to be cautious with China. He is very active and aggressive on the border.
Here, on Monday, Rahul Gandhi will give a speech in the British Parliament. He will address the Overseas Program and the premier thinks tank event under the UK Chapter of the IOC. He will return to India on 7 March.
Rahul's 3 big things among Indians...
1. Shameful not being allowed to raise voice in Parliament: Among NRIs, Rahul Gandhi said, "The government in India does not allow the concept of opposition. The same thing happens in the Parliament there. The fact is that China is our Sitting in the area and when we raise questions, we are not allowed in the Parliament. It is shameful.'
2. India was an open-minded country, not anymore: "Ours is a more open-minded country. A country where we take pride in our knowledge. We respect each other," said the Congress leader. Now it is all ruined. You can see it in the media as well. Only after that, we decided to do Bharat Jodo Yatra.'
3. Leader can speak in Cambridge but not at Indian University: He said, "I find it very strange. An Indian leader can speak in Cambridge. He can speak in Harvard, but in Indian University he can speak." Can't keep talking. Let the opposition discuss an issue, the government doesn't let it happen. This is not the India we once knew."
Rahul said – India needs to be cautious with China
On March 5, at the India Insights program of the Indian Journalists Association in London, about 100 km from Cambridge, Rahul said – India needs to be cautious with China. He is very active and aggressive on the border.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who went on a 7-day UK tour, has once again criticized the Modi government on an open platform. Indian Journalists Association in London discussed with Rahul Gandhi under India Insights. During this, Rahul said – It is not me who insults the country, but PM Modi himself.
Rahul said that those who question Prime Minister Modi or his government are attacked. The same happened with BBC. Rahul also spoke on Income Tax Raid, Lok Sabha election candidature, and the India-China relationship.
Rahul said- Jaishankar does not want to understand my point of view
Rahul Gandhi said – the Congress party's policy regarding China is very clear. We do not accept that anyone should enter the land of our country and bully us. China entered our land and killed our soldiers, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi refuses to accept it.
We should understand the threat given by China and also react to it. I discussed this matter with Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, but he does not want to understand my point of view regarding China's threat. The government is not understanding the threat being given by China.
Tributes paid to Mahatma Gandhi and Guru Basavanna
Before giving the speech, Rahul Gandhi reached Ambedkar House, the old residence of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar in London, and paid tribute to him. Also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Guru Basavanna.
