New Delhi, Jan 22 (IANS) It was a rainy Thursday morning in Delhi with fog delaying nearly 40 trains due to poor visibility, said an official.
At least 37 trains were delayed, five were rescheduled and two were cancelled, said an official of the Northern Railway.
Delhi received 2.5 mm of rainfall till 8.30 a.m and humidity was 93 percent.
"Delhi will witness a partly cloudy day with light rainfall in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 16 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature settled at 11 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was 17.5 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average and the minimum temperature settled at 9.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
