Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the seventh Raisina Dialogue on Monday. Launched just seven years ago in 2016, the Raisina Dialogue has become an important forum not only for Indian diplomacy but also for global diplomacy experts, researchers, politicians, and policy-makers. It was organized virtually for two years.

 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Commission President Ursula Leyen will attend the three-day event from April 25 to April 27 as the chief guest. Representatives from 90 countries of the world (which include senior ministers from 25 countries) will participate in the event.

 

What is the theme of this time?

 

The theme of this year's event is 'Terra Nova: Impassioned, Impressed and Imperiled'. Earth's oldest name is Terra Nova. The purpose behind keeping the theme with this name is to see the earth from a new perspective. The Ministry of External Affairs said that there are six major themes under this theme around which the entire event will be centered. These are fresh ideas about democracy, the role of multilateral agencies, the status of the Indo-Pacific region, community-level challenges to health and development, the goal of a green system overcoming environmental challenges, and technology. changing situation.

 

Delegates from many countries arrived

 

European Commission President Ursula Leyen, Philippines Foreign Minister Teddy Laskin, Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Kefiro, and Nigerian Foreign Minister Jeffrey Oyima have arrived in India to attend the event. While foreign ministers of Slovenia, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Madagascar, Lithuania, Norway, Luxembourg, Armenia, and Guyana are also arriving.
