In the Nikki Yadav Murder Case, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police is engaged in uncovering the secrets related to the murder of the accused Sahil Gehlot. New facts related to the case are continuously coming to the fore in police interrogation. Police believe that the accused murdered Nikki under a conspiracy. However, this has not been confirmed yet.

Reached Nikki's house after the engagement party

The initial inquiry revealed that the accused attended his engagement on February 9, during which he was quite happy. After completing the engagement ceremony, he drank heavily with his friends and danced till late at night. Late in the night around half past one when all the family members were asleep. Then he went to Nikki's house in Uttam Nagar in his car. He reached there around one o'clock in the night. After this, he persuaded Nikki for a long time and said let's go for a walk somewhere.

After this, both of them reached the Kashmere Gate bus stand. Here he made many rounds. After this, around 4 in the morning, the car was parked at the Kashmere Gate parking lot, where both of them fought. During this, Sahil strangles Nikki with the cable of Nikki's mobile charger.

Conspiracy murder?

Police officials say that the investigation so far has revealed that Sahil had come to kill Nikki late at night after their engagement. Took her out of the house on the pretext of taking her for a ride. The officer associated with the investigation says that we are not trusting the statements of the accused. Right now footage of CCTV cameras related to the incident is being collected. Also, the crime scene will be recreated. Police are also extracting the call record details of the accused. The relatives of the accused are also being questioned.

Nikki's father was constantly misleading

The police officer told that Nikki's father Sunil had taken Sahil's number from his younger daughter as he could not talk to his daughter. When they talk to Sahil, he says that Nikki has gone to visit Mussoorie, and Dehradun with her friends. He also said that he too had to hang out with Nikki. But he is married so he could not go.

Help sought from the crime branch

When Sunil did not believe Sahil's words, he sought help from a policeman he knew in the Crime Branch of Delhi Police. After this, Nikki's phone was put under surveillance by the Crime Branch. Its location was found at a dhaba near Mitraon village of Najafgarh. When the police reached the dhaba and saw the fridge, they were stunned. Nikki's body is found in the fridge. After this, the police started searching for Sahil.

The dead body was kept in a car for 40 kilometers

Police sources said that the accused did not keep the dead body in the trunk of the car after killing Nikki. Nikki was sitting on the seat next to Sahil. He took Nikki's dead body from Kashmere Gate to Mitraon by applying a seat belt. He was not investigated anywhere during the journey of about 40 kilometers. On reaching Mitraon, he kept the dead body in the fridge kept in his dhaba and came home on the morning of 10 February.

The medical board did the postmortem of Nikki's body.

The post-mortem of Nikki's body was done on Wednesday. Held under the supervision of the Medical Board at DDU Hospital, Hari Nagar. During this, the people of the aggrieved side outside the mortuary were inconsolable. A person named Jagdish, who came from the aggrieved side, insisted that the relatives would have remained unaware of Nikki's murder, but when Nikki's death did not come, everyone got suspicious.

Jagdish told that Nikki used to talk to her parents daily. But Nikki's call did not come to him on Friday. On Saturday, the family members called Nikki's number several times but her mobile was switched off. On getting no answer, he called Sahil. When she asked Sahil about Nikki, he kept avoiding the conversation every time. He is later told by the police that his daughter Nikki has been murdered.

Significantly, in the Nikki murder case in Delhi, the Dwarka court on Wednesday sent the accused Sahil Gehlot on police remand for five days. The crime branch is questioning the accused in the case. Police claim that all the knots related to the murder will be solved soon.
