The growing transition of the second wave of Corona in Rajasthan has exposed the entire system. The situation is quite bad in major cities of the state. Beds are full in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota. People are not getting treatment on time. On the night of April 19, 2 patients lost their lives due to the stoppage of oxygen supply in Kota.
Due to lack of oxygen and beds, patients are wondering, but there is no one to see or listen to. There is a lot of pressure from the government on private hospitals. More than one lakh cases of corona have been reported in the last 20 days. The situation is expected to worsen in the coming days.
On average, more than 13 thousand oxygen cylinders are being consumed in the state every day and the demand is also increasing. The administration claims that on average, more than 25 thousand oxygen cylinders are produced every day everywhere in the state. Despite this, cities like Kota, Udaipur are fighting for oxygen. Because of the lack of oxygen in Udaipur, the administration has taken over the plant of Hindustan Zinc.
51% of the infected came in only 4 districts
In Rajasthan, more than one lakh 5 thousand people have been infected within 20 days of April. This is by far the highest number in a month in the Corona period. The situation has worsened in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur. In these four districts, 51% of the patients in the entire state came in April. In these four districts, more than 54 thousand coronae infected have been found within 20 days. The death toll from the corona in the state also reached 450 in April, while the highest number of deaths occurred in September last year (438).
This is why the situation worsens
In addition to getting corona infected in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur districts, the load of treatment for corona patients from nearby districts has also increased. Patients from Rajsamand, Dungarpur, Banswara, Sirohi, Pratapgarh, and Chittorgarh are also coming for treatment in Udaipur. Similarly, Jodhpur has a load of serious patients from Nagaur, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, and Pali districts. In Jaipur, a large number of corona patients are coming for treatment from districts like Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Dausa, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur.
The government is hiding the death toll in Kota
Talking about the quota, more than 11,400 corona have been infected here within the last 20 days. Serious patients are dying in hospitals due to lack of oxygen and lack of timely treatment. In Kota, 19 people died on Tuesday, but the government has reported only 10 deaths in Covid's report. Oxygen plants have started panting in Kota as well. There is a demand for more than 1,900 oxygen cylinders daily.
