The union minister informed to all the persons in the parliament that 25,000 case of rape were
registered in India and still we are not able to stop these incidents from our country. It's a "national
shame" .
The home minister promised and said that very soon they will take necessary in these cases and he
will take all the necessary steps to ensure safety of women and children in the country.
In addition to this Jaswant Singh said, "we identified 255 sensitive locations/roads in delhi. Police
varns patrol the area. CCTV camera have been installed in 200o buses and 3,707 public places and
1,518 more camera will be installed soon"
