Positivity rate crosses 13% in 5 states: More than 16 thousand cases were found in the last 24 hours, and 41 died

In the last 24 hours, 16,866 new cases were reported in the country and 17,477 patients were cured. During this 41 patients died. With these new cases, the number of active cases of corona increased to 146,213. Earlier on Saturday, 19,100 new cases were found in the country, while 35 people died.

 

These states record more than 1,000 cases

 

In Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, West Bengal, Odisha, more than one thousand new cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours. More than 2,000 cases are being registered in Maharashtra for the last five consecutive days. On Sunday, 2,015 new cases were found in Maharashtra, while 6 infected people died. At the same time, more than 700 new cases of corona were found in the capital Delhi for the third consecutive day. In the last 24 hours, 729 new cases of corona have been registered in Delhi.

 

Positivity rate crosses 13% in 5 states

 

The positivity rate in 5 states of the country is more than 13 percent. These include Sikkim, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Meghalaya. The positivity rate was recorded in Manipur 13.89%, Himachal 14.67%, Sikkim 16.51%, Meghalaya 21.2% and Nagaland 21.28%.

 

So far, 43,217,547 cases of corona have been found in the country, while 528,638 people have died due to this disease. The number of patients who have been cured of corona has increased to 43,217,547. At the same time, India's corona vaccination coverage has exceeded 202.28 crores.

 

Monkeypox cases increase

 

After Corona, now monkeypox has increased the concern of the people. So far, four cases of monkeypox have been reported in the country. Of these, three cases have been found from the state of Kerala alone and one case from Delhi. At present, all the patients have been hospitalized and all those who came in contact with these patients are being monitored.
