Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming film 'Ramayana' is continuously in the headlines. The audience is desperate to know every update related to the film. There is news coming regarding the film that it is stuck in legal trouble. The film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari. South superstar Yash is the co-producer. Now a new report has claimed that 'Ramayana' is facing legal problems. It is being said that there is a legal dispute with Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP Prime Focus Technologies Limited, the primary production house of 'Ramayana'.
According to media reports, Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP and Prime Focus Technologies Limited are in dispute over the rights of 'Ramayana'. He started talks about this in April 2024. According to reports, negotiations to acquire the rights failed due to incomplete payment.
The report states that Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP claims that the rights of 'Ramayana' will remain with them. Any use of the script by Prime Focus Technologies Limited or any entities will be a violation of their copyright. The notice also states that Prime Focus Technologies Limited has no rights or ownership in 'Ramayana'. The production has also expressed its intention to take legal action if necessary.
Due to all this, the project may get delayed, although nothing is clear about this yet. Nitesh Tiwari has not yet responded to these reports. Earlier last month, Yash had confirmed that he would be joining Ramayan as a co-producer. In a conversation, Yash had said, it has always been my desire to make such films. I was happy to collaborate with one of the best VFX studios. We considered many projects and during these discussions, the project of 'Ramayana' came up.
Yash said, “‘Ramayana’ is deeply connected with me. I had a vision for it. By joining forces to co-produce 'Ramayana', we are bringing together our collective vision and experience to make an Indian film.
