Veteran actor of Marathi cinema Ravindra Mahajani, who was seen in the role of a policeman in the film Saat Hindustani with Amitabh Bachchan, has passed away. Ravindra Mahajani was called Vinod Khanna of Marathi cinema. He breathed his last at the age of 77. The actor's body was found at his residence in Talegaon-Dabhade, Pune. Ravindra Mahajani was living in Talegaon Dabhade for the last few days. The Marathi film industry is expressing grief over the actor's demise.

When the police broke open the door of the flat, they saw that Ravindra was lying dead. Police estimate that Ravindra would have died two to three days ago.
