Rekha Gupta Security: CRPF called back from Delhi CM's security, responsibility will remain with Delhi Police

The central government has withdrawn the Z category CRPF security given to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. This security was given to her after an attack a few days ago. Now the responsibility of her security has been handed over to the Delhi Police again. Recently, Rekha Gupta was attacked by a man during a 'Jan Sunwai' program at her camp office in Civil Lines on the morning of August 20.

 

Accused Rajesh is a dreaded criminal

 

Rajesh Bhai Khimji Bhai Sakaria, accused of attacking Chief Minister Rekha Gupta during a public hearing, is a dreaded criminal. During the investigation, the police came to know that in the year 2017, the accused attacked a youth with a sword during a minor quarrel. After this, he beat him to death with a nearby washing thapki. Rajesh was banished in 2021. Five cases of assault, assault and liquor smuggling are registered against him at Bhakti Nagar police station in Rajkot.

 

Accused Rajesh's statement turned out to be false during interrogation

When initially caught, the accused had told the police that his relative was in the Delhi jail. He had come to the Chief Minister to plead for him, but his story turned out to be false during the investigation. During police remand, he revealed that he had come to Delhi on the orders of a dog by telling about a dream of Kaal Bhairav. Now he is constantly telling new stories to the police.

 

Accused Rajesh's big revelation during interrogation

A police officer said that Rajesh expressed happiness in police custody after coming to know about the Supreme Court's order on dogs on Friday. He says that it is the result of his hard work that the court had to give such an order. Rajesh claims that he takes care of 150 to 200 dogs in Rajkot. The police officer investigating the case said that during interrogation, the accused had revealed that he had injured himself to implicate his family. Later, he had made a false call to the police. He had nine stitches on his head. When Bhakti Nagar police investigated the matter, the truth was revealed. The police is constantly in touch with the Rajkot police to investigate the matter.

 

The Delhi Police is investigating

 

On Friday, a team of Delhi Police reached Rajkot. There, the police interrogated five people, including Rajesh's friend Tahseen, Jignesh, and Chirag. The police came to Delhi with the accused Tahseen alias Bapu. Tahseen is Rajesh's 15-year-old friend. Tahseen had sent Rs 2000 to Rajesh in Delhi through G-Pay. Apart from this, he has been sending him money earlier also.

 

One more accused arrested

 

Delhi Police on Sunday arrested one more person in connection with the attack on Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Officials said that the accused has been identified as Tahseen Syed, a friend of the main accused, Sakaria Rajeshbhai Khimji.
