Pager Blast in Lebanon Nine people died in a serial blast in the pagers of members of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon. These blasts took place in the pages of thousands of Hezbollah members, in which more than 3000 people were also injured.

Hezbollah fighters used to communicate with each other through these pages. Now it has come to light that Israel was behind this blast.

Mossad had planted explosives.

Israeli intelligence agency Mossad had planted a small amount of explosives inside 5000 Taiwan-made pagers ordered by Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah months before the explosions (Pager Blast) in Lebanon on Tuesday. A senior Lebanese security source told Reuters that Mossad was behind this.

Played the game in collaboration with a Taiwanese company

A senior Lebanese security source said that Hezbollah had ordered 5000 pagers made by Taiwanese company Gold Apollo. It was brought into the country only earlier this year.

It is now believed that Mossad played this game in collaboration with a Taiwanese company and the attack was planned for several months.

This is how the pagers were blasted.

The Lebanese source said that the pagers were tampered with at the production stage by the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Mossad injected a board inside the device containing explosive material that receives a code. It isn't easy to detect it by any means. Not even by any device or scanner.

The source said that 3,000 pagers exploded when a coded message was sent to them, with explosives also being activated. Another security source told Reuters that up to three grams of explosives were hidden in the new pagers and remained undetected by Hezbollah for months.

The senior Lebanese security source has identified a photo of the pager model AP924. Like other pagers, it receives and displays text messages wirelessly, but cannot make telephone calls.

Hezbollah fighters are using pagers as a low-tech means of communication in an attempt to avoid Israeli location-tracking.

9 people killed, 3000 injured

This operation of Mossad is considered an unprecedented security lapse of Hezbollah. In this, thousands of pagers exploded across Lebanon, killing nine people and injuring about 3,000 others. Those killed included Hezbollah fighters and Iran's envoy to Beirut.

Vowed to retaliate

Iran-backed Hezbollah has vowed to retaliate against Israel. However, Israel has refused to comment on the explosions. Several sources told Reuters that the plot was being hatched for several months.
