Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Day 1 Collection: Karan Johar's directorial comeback film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' has been a tremendous craze since the beginning. Karan has returned to the field of direction with this film after a full seven years. The film, made with the brilliant performances of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, received a good response on the first day.

Karan Johar has made 'Rocky and Rani's love story' very passionate. The film has opened in double digits and has 14 days to garner an even better response as two big films are releasing on 11th August.

 

The film has received good critics and celebrity reviews. As per early estimates, the film, a love story of Rocky and Rani, has taken an opening of 11.50 crores. Alia and Ranveer's acting is getting tremendous responses. Apart from him, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra Deol have also played lead roles.

This story is completed against the backdrop of Delhi. Delhiites Rocky Randhawa (Ranveer Singh) and Rani Chatterjee (Alia Bhatt) have diametrically opposite likes and dislikes. Nothing matches between them. Rocky comes from a rich family and Rani comes from a middle-class family.

 

The Randhawa family has a sweets business, which is run by grandmother Dhanalakshmi (Jaya Bachchan). Rani comes from an educated family. The families of both do not like each other. This thing becomes a hindrance to their love. In such a situation, how Rocky and Rani reunite their respective families, is shown in the film.
