More than 1700 people in custody

 

Russian police have detained more than 1,700 people protesting in dozens of cities. Demonstrations also took place from the southern city of Tolyatti to the far eastern city of Khabarovsk, reported the Moscow Times. Apart from this, demonstrations were also held in the capital Moscow and St. Petersburg. In Moscow itself, 100 people have been detained. Social activist Marina on Thursday urged Russians to take part in a march against the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

On the other hand, protesters in Russia have been warned. Russian security forces said any unauthorized gatherings were illegal. No gatherings of any kind are permitted.

 

Demonstration in America

 

Demonstrations are also taking place in America against the attack of Russia. Hundreds of people have protested outside the White House. People have also demonstrated outside the Russian embassy.

 

News of the death of 137 people

 

So far 137 people have died in Ukraine in Russia's attack. Ukraine's President Zelensky has confirmed this. He also pointed out that the Chernobyl nuclear site, located just a short distance from the capital Kyiv, has now gone under Moscow's control.
