The situation in the ongoing war between Russia-Ukraine is deteriorating continuously. The brutality of the Russian military has come under fire after 410 civilian bodies were found in Buka and some other towns and villages near the capital Kyiv. Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for an independent investigation into the civilian killings in Buka. Guterres tweeted about the incident, "I am deeply shocked by the pictures of civilians killed in Bucha, Ukraine. He said it is imperative that an independent inquiry be conducted, whose effective accountability is fixed.

 

Russian Defense Ministry told the conspiracy

 

At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry has called it a conspiracy by Ukrainian officials. He said that the Ukrainian government is provoking the world by posting videos and pictures of dead bodies. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called the incident a genocide. At an event, he was asked if Russia was committing genocide in Ukraine. In response, Zelensky said that it was a genocide.

 

Russia demands to convene a meeting of the United Nations Security Council

 

Russian First Deputy Envoy to the United Nations Dmitry Polansky requested a UN Security Council meeting on Monday on the incident. Sputnik quoted Polanski as saying that in the wake of provocations by Ukrainian hardliners in Bucha, Russia has demanded a meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday afternoon, April 4. He said Moscow would expose Ukraine and their Western protectors.
