On the first day of the new financial year, the people, who are facing the daily spurt in the prices of petrol and diesel and inflation, have faced many major setbacks. Where on one hand the price of commercial LPG cylinders has been increased, then electricity has also become expensive. The price of natural gas was doubled a day before the start of the financial year, on the other hand, to travel on the highway, you will have to pay more toll tax from today.

19 kg cylinder costlier by Rs 250

On the first day of the month, oil companies have increased the price of commercial gas cylinders drastically. From April 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 250. After this speed, now it will be available in Delhi for Rs 2553.

drug price hike

From today onwards the expenditure on medicines is going to increase for the common man. According to the report, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has approved an increase of 10.7 percent at the prices of 800 essential medicines from April 1. These include paracetamol, the basic medicine for fever.

hike in toll tax

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has increased the toll on the country's highways. The increased rates will come into effect from today, April 1. According to the notification, this increase is from Rs 10 to Rs 65. This increase in percentage ranges from 10 to 18 percent. NHAI Project Director NN Giri has confirmed the change in toll rates.

Air travel will be more expensive

Jet fuel (ATF) prices have also been increased by two percent on April 1, which could make air travel more expensive. On March 16, the prices of aircraft fuel were increased by a record 18 percent. The price of ATF has gone up to Rs 1,12,924.83 per kiloliter in Delhi. Let us tell you that this is the seventh increase so far this year.

double the price of natural gas

The government on Thursday more than doubled the price of domestically produced natural gas. This jump has happened due to the rise in global energy prices. Natural gas is used to generate electricity, make fertilizers, convert to CNG and deliver PNG. With the increase in gas prices, the rates of CNG and PNG in Delhi-Mumbai may increase by 10-15 percent.

CNG in Chandigarh Rs.80

The everyday rising price of petrol and diesel across the country has disturbed the people. Meanwhile, in Chandigarh, where petrol is being sold beyond Rs 100, the price of CNG has also been increased by Rs 8.60 from April 1. With this increase, now the price of CNG here has increased from Rs 71 40 paise to Rs 80 per kg.

Electricity becomes expensive in Uttarakhand

The first day of the new financial year proved to be a burden on the people of Uttarakhand. Electricity has become expensive in the state from April 1. Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission has released a new tariff of electricity rates for the financial year 2022-23. For about 11 lakh domestic consumers of BPL and up to 100 units, now the increase has been done after 2019. Electricity rates have been increased by 2.68 percent.

The threat of inflation rises

Significantly, in the last 10 days, the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased nine times in the country, taking a total of Rs 6.4 per liter. Today the commercial gas cylinder has become expensive, so in the past, the price of LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50. There is a possibility that the rising prices are going to hit the people hard in the coming times.
