Russia-Ukraine War: Indigo's special flight arrived in Delhi carrying 229 Indians from Romania

Today is the 10th day of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Many cities in Ukraine are constantly being bombed by the Russian military. Meanwhile, Operation Ganga is being run by the Government of India to bring back the stranded Indians in Ukraine. So far more than 11000 people have been brought back under this operation. Under this, a special Indigo flight carrying 229 Indian nationals from Ukraine has reached Delhi from Suseva in Romania.

 

179 people returned home from Air Asia

 

The government is leaving no stone unturned in the return of Indians under Operation Ganga. This morning only 179 people have been brought back to the country by an Air Asia plane. All of them have been brought from countries bordering Ukraine. Meanwhile, these citizens were welcomed by Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan by reaching the airport himself.

 

Yesterday PM had a high-level meeting

 

Let us inform you that only yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a high-level meeting on the ongoing war in Ukraine. According to the information, in this meeting, discussions were held on the safe evacuation of Indian citizens from Ukraine. Significantly, the government has appointed its special envoys to the neighboring countries bordering Ukraine, who will work in the safe return of their citizens. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju in Slovakia, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in Romania, and General VK Singh in Poland have been sent.
