You people fulfill your plans, and on hearing this the crowd became even more furious. Meanwhile, a voice came from the crowd that the survey would not be allowed. It is written in the FIR that the crowd has been instigated to take political advantage.

According to the FIR, the police had received information that a crowd was gathering at the Nakhasa intersection in protest against the survey of Jama Masjid. Sub-inspector Nishant Malik reached the spot with his team. Meanwhile, at around 12:35 pm, the crowd broke the CCTV cameras and attacked the policemen.

'Will not allow survey in mosque'
According to the FIR registered, a voice was heard from the crowd shouting to snatch the weapons and cartridges of these policemen, set them on fire, and kill them, no one should be able to escape. We will not allow the survey of our mosque.
All of them have been charged with murderous attacks, damaging government property, and disrupting public order. It has also been told in the FIR that the police fired 10 rounds of plastic pellets and tear gas shells from anti-riot guns to control the situation. After additional police force reached the spot, the rioters were dispersed.
Investigation continues
The police have registered an FIR and intensified the investigation into the case. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused. The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police visited the spot and appealed to the people to maintain peace.
