District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap said that the order has been given in Sanjauli using powers under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code 2023. Under this, in order to maintain law and order and peace in the Sanjauli area of the district, there will be a complete ban on gatherings of 5 or more people.
Schools, offices, and markets will remain open.
Schools government and private offices and markets will remain completely open. The general public will not have to face any kind of problems. The administration is trying to take strict steps to maintain law and order in the area.
No one will be allowed to sit on dharna without permission. No one will be allowed to sit on dharna, shout slogans, or hunger strike without permission in the Sanjauli area. There will also be a ban on the use of loudspeakers in hospitals, courts, educational institutions, and public places. During this time, communal, anti-national, anti-state speech slogans, wall writings, posters, etc. have also been completely banned.
Section 163 will be applicable in these areas.
This order will continue from 7 am to 11.59 pm on Wednesday in Nav Bahar Chowk to Dhali Tunnel's Eastern Portal, IGMC to Sanjauli Chowk, Sanjauli Chowk to Chalonthi, Dhali (via Sanjauli Chalonthi Junction) area.
These activities will be banned.
Five people will not gather in one place
Carrying any kind of weapon or tool will be banned
Rallies or processions will not be allowed without permission, traffic will not be disrupted
Burning torches or candles in public places will also be banned
Training of any kind will be banned. This also includes learning to use a stick.
Burning crackers on roads and streets will also be banned
Throwing stones and keeping objectionable items and gathering at any place will be banned
Loudspeakers will be banned.
Provocative speeches, slogan writing, and wall writing will also be banned.
