World champion Indian team will play the third T20 on Tuesday to maintain its dominance over England in T20 for the last eight years. If the Indian team wins in Rajkot with a 2-0 lead, then it will also capture the five-match series with a 3-0 lead. If this happens, India will win the fifth consecutive series against England in T20. The Indian team has been registering superiority over England in the T20 series since 2017. In 2017, India defeated England 2-1 in a three-match series, 2-1 in a three-match series in 2018, 3-2 in a five-match series in 2021 and 2-1 in a three-match series in 2022.

The form of captain Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) and opener Sanju Samson with the bat is a matter of concern, but the performance of Tilak Verma, Varun Chakraborty, Arshdeep Singh has defeated England so far. Suryakumar has not scored any half-centurys in the last six T20s. Runs are expected from his bat on the Rajkot wicket which is suitable for batting. At the same time, Jos Buttler's team would like to win this match at all costs to stay in the series.

Suryakumar did not score any centuries last year.

Suryakumar has scored 0 and 12 runs in the last two matches. He has not scored any century in T20 in the last 20 matches. 2024 has not been special for him. He scored his last century on 14 December 2023 against South Africa in Johannesburg. He scored only four half-centuries in 2024. After taking over the captaincy of the Indian team last year, the team has achieved success under his leadership, but his batting has not been special. In the last 17 innings, he has scored 429 runs at an average of 26.81. Surya, popularly known as 360 degrees, was dismissed on a slow ball in the first match of the series while trying to hit his favorite shot behind the wicket.

Tilak's form is the strong side.

The strong side of the Indian team is the form of Tilak Verma. Tilak's unbeaten innings of 72 runs in Chennai was the reason for India's thrilling victory. Tilak has not been out in the last four innings. He has scored unbeaten 107, 120, 19, and 72 runs in the last four innings. He attacked fast bowler Jofra Archer fiercely in Chennai. His counterattack on Archer became the reason for the team's victory. While Sanju Samson is not able to adjust to Archer's slammed balls, Tilak is scoring runs easily against him. Samson, who batted brilliantly in South Africa, has had trouble with short-pitch balls in this series.

Varun will again be in charge.

Mohammad Shami is not expected to play in Rajkot as well. Suryakumar has indicated to come down with an extra batsman here as well. Arshdeep Singh has done justice to the role of the only fast bowler. All-rounder Hardik Pandya is playing the role of his partner. Varun Chakraborty has been brilliant in the spin department and Ravi Bishnoi also impressed. The same bowling attack is expected to play in Rajkot. If Rinku Singh and Nitish Reddy get injured, either Shivam Dubey or Ramandeep Singh can be given a place in the team. Shivam is known for hitting long shots in the middle overs. His inclusion in the team will also give the Indian team a chance to disturb the rhythm of leg-spinner Adil Rashid.

England's batsmen have disappointed.

England's weak side has been its batting. Except for Butler, no one else has impressed. Especially the dangerous Harry Brook has not been able to understand mystery spinner Varun till now. Phil Salt has also not performed well. Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse have shown some color in the last match, but England needs a big innings from their batting in Rajkot to stay in the series. Archer impressed in the first match, but in the second match, he conceded 60 runs. The pair of Archer and Mark Wood will also have to make extra efforts.
