Mumbai. Choreographer Saroj Khan, known as the Dancing Queen in Bollywood, died of a heart attack late Thursday at the age of 71. She was admitted to Bandra Hospital for several days due to shortness of breath. However, his corona test came negative.
His body was handed over to family in the night itself. His younger daughter Sukanya said that Ammi was handed over to the cemetery in Malad at 7 am because of the lockdown rules.
The family has decided that a prayer meeting will be held in his memory for three days. In Saroj's family, her husband B.V. Sohanlal, son Hamid Khan, has two daughters, Hina and Sukanya.
