Weather Update: Possibility of heavy rain in 19 states, yellow alert in these districts of Maharashtra and Uttarakhand

Monsoon rains have started once again in the country. The Meteorological Department has predicted torrential rains in West Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat during the next three days. Heavy rains are expected in Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on Friday. There may be light rain with thunder and lightning over the eastern part of the country. On Thursday, it rained in many states including Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in 19 states on Friday. On the next two days i.e. 9 and 10 September, heavy rains have been predicted in 14 states.

 

Yellow alert of rain in Mumbai

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigarh, Ratnagiri, Dhule, Jalgaon, and Nashik districts of Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of heavy rain in these districts on September 8. The people of Mumbai got some respite from the heat due to the rain on Thursday. However, the traffic system was affected due to rain. In many places, there were long traffic jams, while in other places galloping vehicles were seen crawling. A driver said that the roads have become slippery due to rain. Having trouble driving.

 

 

It may rain during G20 also

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in New Delhi during the G20 summit. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain around the conference venue Bharat Mandapam on September 9-10. The department separately released the G-20 Bulletin. According to this, it will be partly cloudy on Friday also, while the temperature will remain between 35-39 degrees Celsius between September 8 to 10. At the same time, the minimum temperature is likely to be between 26-28 degrees.

 

The Meteorological Department issued an alert in Uttarakhand as well

There is a possibility of rain in five districts including Dehradun in Uttarakhand on Friday. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for rain and thunder at isolated places in Dehradun, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, and Nainital districts. Apart from this, light rain may also occur in some areas of the Tehri, Pauri, and Champawat districts.
