In the first phase, he can take the oath of office of 8-10 senior MLAs of BJP, who has also held the responsibility of important departments in the Shivraj cabinet earlier. Senior BJP MLAs who are likely to become ministers in the first expansion include former leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava, senior MLAs Narottam Mishra, Bhupendra Singh, Rajendra Shukla and Rampal Singh.
