KL Rahul was bought by the Punjab Kings franchise for 11 crores. KL can also be made the captain of the Lucknow team. Ahmedabad has also bought 3 players. Ahmedabad has bought Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan for 15-15 crores and Shubman Gill for 7 crores.

Rahul may not have won the Punjab Kings trophy as a captain, but in the last 4 IPL seasons, he has seen 500+ runs with the bat. In IPL 2020, KL was also successful in capturing the Orange Cap.
