The new team Lucknow franchise has added 3 players for IPL 2022. According to the news of ESPN Cricinfo, KL Rahul will get 15 crores, Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis will get 11 crores and Ravi Bishnoi will get 4 crores. According to the report, Rahul will also be the captain of the team.

KL Rahul was bought by the Punjab Kings franchise for 11 crores. KL can also be made the captain of the Lucknow team. Ahmedabad has also bought 3 players. Ahmedabad has bought Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan for 15-15 crores and Shubman Gill for 7 crores.

This selection can be a game-changer

There is no doubt that this selection can prove to be a game-changer for the team. Rahul may not have won the Punjab Kings trophy as a captain, but in the last 4 IPL seasons, he has seen 500+ runs with the bat. In IPL 2020, KL was also successful in capturing the Orange Cap. Stoinis also showed a strong game in the last three seasons for Delhi Capitals. He has played 56 matches in IPL and scored 914 runs with a strike rate of 135.81. Stoinis also has 30 wickets in his name.

Ravi Bishnoi is also searching for IPL. He has shown the way to the pavilion by dismissing 24 players in 23 matches. Apart from Kerahul and Bishnoi, Marcus Stoinis has also played for Punjab Kings.

10 teams in the league from this year

There will be a total of 10 teams in the Indian Premier League this year. Last month, the teams submitted the list of a maximum of four players of their choice to the IPL management. This time there is a mega auction in IPL. The auction will take place on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.

The Lucknow team has been bought by RP-Sanjeev Goenka Group for Rs 7,090 crore and returned to the league after five years. Before this, Goenka Group had the team of Rising Pune Super Giants in two years 2016 and 2017. At the same time, CVC Capital has bought the team from Ahmedabad for Rs 5,166 crore.
