After this attitude of China, there is an atmosphere of fury in the country. The talk of boycotting Chinese goods has started gaining momentum in the country. In this environment, ABP News conducted a survey with C-Voter and wanted to know from people whether India should continue trade relations with China in such an environment.
In this survey, 93.40 percent people of the country said that India should end all kinds of trade relations with China and cancel all trade agreements. At the same time, 6.6 percent people believe that trade relations should continue despite tension with China on the border.
In the survey, women-men, people of all ages, students, people of income group, social groups and people from the areas were talked to.
What about women and men?
89.7 per cent men said that if trade relations with China were to end, 10.3 per cent men said that it should continue. At the same time, 97.5 per cent women voted in favor of India should end trade with China. At the same time, 2.5 percent women believe that trade with China should continue.
What do people of different age groups say?
In addition, 98.7 percent of youth under 25 believe that trade with China should be abolished. At the same time, 98.1 percent of people between the ages of 25 and 45 also advocated abolition of business. Apart from this, 69.8 percent of people between the ages of 45 and 60 years said that business relations with China should be stopped now. At the same time, 98.6 percent of people above 60 years of age also said that the time has come to stop trading with China.
Apart from this, 1.3 per cent of people under the age of 25, 1.9 per cent of those aged 25 to 45, 30.2 per cent of those aged 45 to 60 and 1.4 per cent of those above 60 years, said that it should continue.
What do different educated groups think
98.5 people with lower education, 96.6 people with middle education and 63.4 percent of people with higher education said that trade relations with China should be ended. At the same time, 1.5 percent of people with lower education, 3.4 percent of middle education and 36.6 percent of people with higher education said that trade with China should continue.
Opinion of different income group people
98.8 per cent of the people in the lower income group, 97.0 in the middle income group and 66.9 per cent in the higher income group supported the end of trade with China. At the same time, 1.2 percent of people with lower income group, 3.0 of middle income group and 33.1 percent of people of higher income group said that business should continue with China.
Do people of different social groups?
97.1 per cent of SC community, 97.0 of ST community, 97.8 of OBC and 79.8 per cent of upper caste people voted in favor of ending business with China. Apart from this, 96.7 percent Muslims, 94.7 percent Christians and 98 percent Sikh community people talked about ending business relations. At the same time, 97 percent of the people of other communities said that business should end.
At the same time, in the survey, 2.9 percent of SC community, 3.o of ST community, 2.2 and 20.2 percent of OBC people voted in favor of continuing business with China. Apart from this, 3.3 percent of Muslims, 5.3 percent of Christians and 2 percent of Sikh community people talked about continuing business relations.
What is the opinion of the city and the villages?
In the survey, 82.7 percent of urban people said that trade with China should stop. Apart from this, 99.0 per cent of the semi-urban and 97.5 per cent of the people in the rural areas talked about ending business.
At the same time, 17.3 percent of the urban people said that trade with China should continue. Apart from this, 1 percent of the semi-urban and 2.5 percent of the rural people said that they would maintain business relations.
What do the people of northern states believe?
93.6 of Bihar, 98 of Chhattisgarh, 99.6 of Delhi, 97.4 of Gujarat, 98 of Haryana, 95.1 of Himachal Pradesh, 89.7 of Jammu and Kashmir, 99.4 of Jharkhand, 97.5 of Madhya Pradesh, 95.7 of Maharashtra, 94.5 of Punjab, Rajasthan. In the survey 98.1, 96 in Uttar Pradesh and 98.1 per cent people of Uttarakhand said that India should end China's trade.
6.4 in Bihar, 2 in Chhattisgarh, 0.4 in Delhi, 2.6 in Gujarat, 2 in Haryana, 4.9 in Himachal Pradesh, 10.3 in Jammu and Kashmir, 0.6 in Jharkhand, 2.5 in Madhya Pradesh, 4.3 in Maharashtra, 5.5 in Punjab, Rajasthan. K 1.9, 4.0 in Uttar Pradesh and 1.9 per cent of Uttarakhand surveyed said that India should continue with China's trade.
Public opinion based on Lok Sabha 2019?
88.3 percent of the opposition supporters said that trade relations with China should end. At the same time, 97.9 percent supporters of BJP and NDA said that business relations should be stopped.
At the same time, 11.7 percent of the opposition supporters in the survey said that trade relations with China should continue. At the same time, 2.1 percent supporters of BJP and NDA said that business relations should not be stopped despite tension on the border.
