School attack in Russia: 13 killed in indiscriminate firing at school; Many held hostage, security forces killed two attackers

On Tuesday, the attackers entered a school and opened fire in the city of Kazan, Russia. So far 13 people have died in this attack. 8 children and a teacher are being told among those who died. According to a spokesman for the Emergency Service, two children jumped from the third-floor window when the attack occurred. He died due to falling from a height.

 

Russia's news agency RIA reported that an attacker on the fourth floor of the school has also held some people hostage. 12 injured have been admitted to the hospital.

 

The news agency reported that a blast has also taken place inside the school. Two attackers were killed by security forces who arrived at the notice of the attack. According to officials, the age of a shooter killed is 19 years. He had a registered gun. An investigation into the incident has been started. The police have also arrested a 17-year-old suspect. He is suspected to have been involved in the attack. Videos of damage to the school building are surfacing. Police said that the motive for the attack is not yet clear.
