ADG gave instructions
Devotees coming to visit the deity on Shri Krishna Janmashtami will not be allowed to face any inconvenience. Full care will be taken so that everyone can easily see Mangala Aarti and their birth anniversary. Police will be deployed everywhere around the temples for security. ADG saw the arrangements
ADG reached Mathura at around 4 p.m. on Monday. First of all, she reached Shri Krishna's birthplace. Here reviewed the security arrangements with the officials in the auditorium built in the control room. It was told on the projector how much force has been deployed at all the major temples. The officers also told them point-wise how many police would be deployed. Officials told that Mathura has been divided into three zones and 17 sectors and Vrindavan into three zones and 10 sectors. The responsibility of each zone has been given to an ASP-level officer. At the same time, the responsibility of the sector will be given to the CO-level officer.
Local police will be deployed around the temples
The ADG instructed the officers to deploy local police around the temples. Since local police are familiar with the surrounding area and the local people, they will be more successful. The forces deployed for security should be briefed and clearly explained what they have to do. Be gentle with the devotees. No one should be in trouble. They should also be helped when needed. Policemen should be deployed on duty on time. They should be monitored continuously. There should not be any negligence at any level.
