The results of the Bihar Assembly elections are being announced today. Counting of votes, which began at 8 a.m., is now largely clearing the picture for Bihar. The NDA appears poised to form the government once again, while the Grand Alliance led by Tejashwi Yadav appears to be losing. All eyes are on the Chhapra Assembly seat in Bihar this time. The reason is Bhojpuri star singer-actor Khesari Lal Yadav. Khesari Lal Yadav is contesting this seat as a candidate for Lalu Yadav's RJD. He faces a challenge from BJP candidate Chhoti Kumari. After leading in initial trends, Khesari Lal Yadav has now fallen behind, while BJP candidate Chhoti Kumari has overtaken him.

 

 

Maithili Thakur

 

Maithili Thakur, a singer known for her folk songs, is also contesting this election. Maithili is contesting the Alinagar constituency in Bihar as a BJP candidate. After two rounds of counting, Maithili maintains a lead of approximately 4,573 votes. Her biggest challenger is RJD's Vinod Mishra, who is currently trailing her, while Prashant Kishore's party is also trailing.

 

 

Ritesh Pandey in fourth place

 

Ritesh Pandey, a famous Bhojpuri singer from Prashant Kishore's Jan Suraj Party, is trying his luck in politics this time. Ritesh Pandey is contesting from the Karakhahar assembly seat in Bihar. He faces challenges from both the BJP and the RJD. However, early trends show Ritesh Pandey in fourth place, marking a poor start for him.

 

 

Jyoti Singh surprises

 

Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh has been in the news for his personal life. When Pawan Singh joined the BJP, there were expectations that he would contest this election. However, due to controversies, that hasn't happened. However, his wife, Jyoti Singh, has entered the electoral fray. Jyoti Singh is contesting the Karakat assembly seat as an independent candidate. She is being challenged by both the BJP and the RJD. However, according to the latest data, Jyoti is trailing significantly and is in third place.
