Shubhanshu Shukla: Shubhanshu Shukla's 'namaskar' from space, said- it feels like I am learning to walk like a child

In his first call from space, Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla recalled the experience of Wednesday's launch. Reliving that moment, he described this experience as indescribable. Greeting with 'namaskar' from space, Shubhanshu Shukla said that he is getting used to zero gravity. He said, 'I am still getting used to zero gravity, like a child learning to walk, figuring out how to move and how to handle himself. I am enjoying every moment. Shubhanshu Shukla described his experience in Earth orbit as unreal and fun.

In the live call, Shubhanshu Shukla also said that this mission is a strong step for India's human space program and the upcoming Gaganyaan mission. India's return to human spaceflight after a gap of 41 years

 

Shubhanshu Shukla also shared visuals from the spacecraft, which is currently 418 km above Earth. He described the view as beautiful. Earlier, Shubhanshu Shukla on Wednesday left for the International Space Station (ISS) on a historic journey, marking India's return to human spaceflight after a gap of 41 years. The journey follows the successful launch of the Axiom Space Mission with a four-member multi-country crew in the US.
