Responding to another question, Rai said that during the last few months, two incidents of attacks on Kashmiri Pandits were reported in Jammu and Kashmir, he said. in which one person has died and another has been injured.
Referring to the measures taken to ensure the security of minorities in the Kashmir Valley, Rai said that there has been strong security and intelligence grid, round-the-clock area domination, patrolling, and proactive operations against terrorists. Apart from this round-the-clock checking at the nakas, road safety check parties have also been deployed at strategic police stations to thwart any terrorist attack. He said that from the year 2018 to 30 June 2022, 108 civilians were attacked in Jammu and Kashmir.2019, to July 9, 2022, 128 personnel of security forces were attacked by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.
