While living outside the US, Somi Ali took to social media to connect with Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in Sabarmati Central Jail. Somi shared a picture of Lawrence on her Instagram handle on Thursday. Also, her caption caught everyone's attention. Somi wrote, 'This is a direct message to Lawrence Bishnoi - Hello, Lawrence Bhai, I have heard and seen that you are doing Zoom calls from jail too, so I want to talk to you.'

 

Somi further added in her statement, 'Please tell me how can this happen? Our favorite place in the whole world is Rajasthan. We want to come to your temple for worship, but first, let's have a Zoom call with you and have a chat after the worship.'

 

Somi did not stop here and continued her talk, saying, 'Believe me, this is for your benefit. Give me your mobile number, it will be a great favor. Thank you.' Somi, who broke up with Salman Khan in 1999, moved from Mumbai to America and has been there since then. Although she has been saying that her relationship with the actor was troubled, she has also defended him many times.

 

Somi had defended Salman Khan in an interview in May, saying, 'If you are trying to kill someone or shoot at him, then you are crossing the border. Salman was very young in the year 1998. I would like to request the head of the Bishnoi tribe to forget it and move on, if he has made any mistake, then I apologize on his behalf and please forgive him.'
