Giving information about his upcoming biopic, Sourav Ganguly said, "According to what I have heard, Rajkumar Rao will play this role (the lead role)... but there is an issue of dates... so it may take more than a year to come on screen." Due to the long dragging of the film, there may be some disappointment among his fans.

Actor Rajkumar Rao's name was already associated with this project. Now Sourav Ganguly himself has confirmed it. Rajkumar Rao has given a superhit film like 'Stree 2' last year.
