'Sorry, more than my ego...', Sonu Nigam apologizes to the people of Karnataka after the Bengaluru concert controversy.

Sonu Nigam had stated at a Bangalore concert some time ago that some people were forcing him to sing in Kannada, after which he compared them to the terrorists of Pahalgam and the issue became so heated that an FIR was even registered against the singer.

 

People of the Kannada community had criticized Sonu Nigam a lot. Later, after the FIR was registered, the singer clarified and said that those boys were threatening him to sing in Kannada. The matter did not stop, so finally Sonu Nigam apologized through a post.

 

Sonu Nigam bowed down to arrogance.

On Monday evening, Sonu Nigam finally apologized to the people of Karnataka through a post. He said that Karnataka is more important than his arrogance. He said in his recent post, "Sorry Karnataka. My love for you is more than my arrogance. I love you always."

 

Sonu Nigam had clarified.

The Bollywood singer had clarified his statement in another post. He said that he never hesitates in giving love to language, culture, music states, and people. He said that he respects Kannada songs too, but at the age of 51, he will not tolerate insult from a small child who is threatening him in front of thousands of people due to language.

Recently, Sonu Nigam did a music show in Bangalore where a boy insisted he sing a song in Kannada. Seeing this, the singer said in the concert, "I felt bad when a small boy was repeatedly insisting me to sing a Kannada song. This is the behavior that is at the root of incidents like Pahalgam. See who is standing in front." Now, due to this, Sonu Nigam was being criticized a lot in Karnataka.
