Sourness in India-Bangladesh relations! Yunus government called back two diplomats

India-Bangladesh relations After the formation of the interim government in Bangladesh, its relations with India are now seen to be souring. Following the order of the new government, two Bangladeshi diplomats serving in India have been recalled from their duties.

 

Two diplomats recalled

 

Shaban Mahmud, working as First Secretary (Press) at the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi, was asked to resign before the expiry of his contract. Similarly, Ranjan Sen, working in the same position in the Bangladeshi Consulate in Kolkata, was also dismissed from his duties.

 

Hasina had fled the country to India

 

Let us tell you that after violent protests in Bangladesh and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fleeing the country, an interim government has been established under the leadership of Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus. Due to the violence, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled to India.

 

More than 450 people were killed in the violence

 

76-year-old Hasina came to India by helicopter from Bangladesh on August 5. The protesters had occupied the streets of Dhaka. Before Hasina stepped down, deadly violence had spread across the country, with more than 450 people killed during the unrest.
