Lucknow, Jan 8 (IANS) The Uttar Pradesh tourism department will start a special 'Lucknow Darshan' luxury bus tour Jan 14, an official said Thursday.
The five-hour bus trip would be on the lines of similar bus services in other countries, Uttar Pradesh Tourism director general Amrit Abhijaat told IANS.
The air-conditioned bus would have local guides and would be aided by tourist police who will man all historical places and important tourist spots in the city to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to the bus passengers.
The bus would visit the Residency, Imambada, Bhool Bhulaiyan, Chota Imambada, Picture Gallery, Qaiserbagh Palace and Shahnazaf Imambada.
The bus service will be open to both domestic and international tourists. The fare would be Rs.300 for Indian tourists, and Rs.850 for foreign tourists.
