
Iran attacked several targets in northern Iraq and Syria late Monday night. Iran said it targeted the headquarters of spies and bases of anti-Iranian terrorist groups in Arbil.
Four people were killed in the attack
The Kurdistan government's Security Council said in a statement that four civilians were killed and six were injured in the Iranian strikes. These missiles had fallen near the American Consulate. A US defense official said that no US facilities were affected by these attacks.
Several ballistic missiles were fired in Arbil
An Iraqi official said that several ballistic missiles had been fired at Arbil. An official of the Iran-backed Iraqi militia said 10 missiles had fallen in the area near the US Consulate. He said that these missiles were launched by Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
