Hyderabad, Feb 27 (IANS) Two more people died of swine flu in Telangana, taking the toll to 56 during last two months.
The health department Friday reported two deaths and 27 positive cases during last 24 hours.
According to a bulletin by the department, 102 samples were tested Thursday and out of them 27 were found positive.
Despite the increase in day temperature, the state is witnessing large number of cases every day.
The health authorities screened 4,483 cases since Jan 1 and out of them 1,412 were found positive. Majority of the deaths and positive cases were reported from Hyderabad and neighboring Ranga Reddy district.
Officials said enough stocks of medicines and testing kits have been made available at all teaching, district and area hospitals.
