By Thursday night, 85.46 lakh people took a dip, after which the number of devotees in the Maha Kumbh has reached 49.14 crores so far. The fair administration has expected this figure to cross 50 crores by Friday.

On the second day of Maghi Purnima, Thursday, a huge crowd had gathered. Bathers started arriving in the morning. By 8 am, 14.79 lakh devotees had taken bath.

 

The number of devotees continued to come late at night

This number increased to 27.30 lakh by 10 am and 44.76 lakh by 12 noon. By 2 pm, 60.43 lakh, and by 4 pm, 69.20 lakh, and by 6 pm, 73.06 lakh devotees had taken a bath. By 8 pm, this number increased to 85.46 lakh. The number of devotees continued to come late at night in Maha Kumbh.

 

There will be a huge crowd on Maha Shivratri.

 

There is still no room in trains and flights for the next three weeks to come to Teerthraj. Anyway, there are still 13 days left for the conclusion of Maha Kumbh and one bathing festival Maha Shivratri. It is expected that the number of devotees will continue to come even after the Maghi Purnima bath.

 

The crowd will also gather on Trijata Snan Parv.
