Medals snatched from Harvey Weinstein
In 2017, President Macron withdrew the Legion of Honor award from Hollywood director Harvey Weinstein. Harvey Weinstein was accused of intimate misconduct during the Me Too movement. After which this decision was taken.

The Legion of Honor is the highest honor in France. It was started by Napoleon in the year 1802. France has maintained the tradition even after years have passed.
Many Indians have also achieved this honor. It was first awarded to Maharaja Pratap Singh in 1918, and since then it has been given to 40 Indians. In August 2022, this honor was also given to Congress leader Shashi Tharoor.
