The International Cricket Council (ICC) disqualified Bangladesh from the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup in India after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) refused to send its team due to security concerns. Following this, the European team Scotland was given a place in the tournament. The Scottish team announced its 15-member squad on Monday. The World Cup will begin on February 7, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Scotland has previously participated in six of the nine T20 World Cups (2007, 2009, 2016, 2021, 2022, 2024). This time, the team will be captained by Richie Berrington.

In addition to the 15 players announced, Scotland has also selected two 'travelling reserves' and three 'non-travelling reserves'. The team has been placed in Group C, where they will compete against England, Italy, Nepal, and the West Indies. Scotland's first match will be against the West Indies at Eden Gardens on February 7.
