The world's largest vaccination campaign continues continuously in India. But some states have reported that they are not getting enough health worker vaccines, which is ruining the vaccine dose. People are hesitating. On this, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said today that the message is clear that the vaccine is completely safe and effective.

 

He said that surfacing reported adverse events or side effects are common and can be seen after any vaccination. This vaccination will be the last nail in the coffin of Covid-19. Unfortunately, some people are spreading misinformation about vaccination for political reasons. This has led to a group of people hesitating about the vaccine. On Wednesday, officials of at least six states said that the dose of coronavirus vaccine is going to waste because people are not coming.

 

Many states in the country are constantly underlining the problem of vaccine hesitation. Now, these problems can affect the inventions. India's introduction of the Covid-19 vaccination program has been one of the strongest starts in the world, with more vaccines reaching India on the first day than in any other country.

 

According to data from the Union Ministry of Health, since the launch on 16 January, 786,842 people were vaccinated in 14,119 sessions held till 6 pm on Wednesday. But it still accounts for 55% of the schedule - every day, 100 people are selected and invited for each session and, on average, about 45 of them are not coming to get vaccinated.

 

Experts have called for increasing the reach of more and more people, in which they say that not only the health care workers but also the general public can be reached to achieve the goal. To address the hesitation caused by the vaccine, the government on Tuesday devised a digital platform to allow vaccinated health workers (who were selected as the initial beneficiaries) to be vaccinated even earlier.
