Crime News: One arrested for cheating in the name of police recruitment by posing as fake DIG, recovered uniform with OFS sticker

Police have arrested a person who duped youth in the name of police recruitment by becoming a fake DGI. A police uniform, a mobile phone, a fake gold chain, and a ring along with cash worth Rs 12,000 were recovered from him. The accused, who had been duped as an IPS officer, had written OFS on the uniform of the police, due to which he came under suspicion. After which the police caught him and he confessed his crime.

 

According to the information, the name of the fake DIG caught by the police is Sujit Padhiyari. Sujit is a resident of the Sujanpur area of ​​the Jajpur district. It used to give the promise of providing jobs to unemployed youth. By becoming a fake DIG, he pretended to recruit youth of Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, and other districts in the police and duped them of lakhs of rupees. The arrested Sujit was active in Kendrajhar district for some time. He was making youth victims of fraud in Kendrajhar. At the same time, a person became suspicious of him and complained to the Ghatgaon police station. Based on the information, Ghatgaon police raided a lodge in Kendrajhar. Sujit was arrested from here.
