Today's Weather Delhi NCR Rain News: There is news of rain in many areas of Delhi since this morning. Whereas in Ghaziabad and Noida it is raining with strong wind. People have also got relief from the humidity. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the areas of Delhi-NCR for the next five days. Within half an hour of rain, the roads were filled with water. Office-going people are facing the problem of traffic jams.

 

The weather changed in Delhi

For information, let us tell you that it is raining heavily in East Delhi for the last hour. Along with this, the wind has also increased. In many areas of Delhi, there is light rain with thunder. The wind is blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Talking about Delhi, Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Burari, Rohini, Badili, Model Town, Karawal Nagar, Azadpur, Pitampura, Delhi University, Civil Lines, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Punjabi Bagh, Kashmiri Gate, Seelampur, Shahdara, Vivek Vihar It is raining in Patel Nagar, Red Fort, Preet Vihar, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Rajiv Chowk, ITO.

The weather took a turn again on Wednesday evening. Dense dark clouds encamped and after some time there was heavy rain in many areas. During this, strong wind also blew. However, once again the humidity increased. Delhi recorded an average of 000.2 mm of rain till 8.30 am, while DU recorded 000.5 mm till 5:30 pm, Mungeshpur 008.0 mm. It rained in some areas in the afternoon as well.

 

Whereas 019.2 mm of rain was recorded in Palam, 008.5 in Pusa, 017.0 in Najafgarh, and 004.5 in Pitampura. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.3 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 27.8 degree Celsius. There is a possibility of intermittent rains in the areas of Delhi-NCR for the next five days. It will be light to moderate rain. A yellow alert for rain has been issued on 8 July. On this day, along with rain, the wind will also blow at a speed of 30-40 kmph. For five days, the maximum temperature will remain between 33 to 36 degrees and the minimum temperature will remain between 26 to 27 degrees.

 

How is the weather in NCR

On the other hand, talking about the NCR area, it is raining heavily in Delhi-Noida and Ghaziabad. According to the Meteorological Department, it is raining in Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, and Dadri. Apart from this, it is raining in Haryana's Sonepat, Kharkhoda, UP's Baraut, Baghpat, Meerut, Khekra, Modinagar, Kithore, Pilkhuwa, Hapur. Due to heavy rains in Ghaziabad and Noida, the roads have been flooded. The speed of traffic has slowed down due to the rain. In Delhi-NCR, people are leaving their homes to go to the office in the morning, but everyone is facing problems due to the rain.

 

Electricity failure due to rain in Noida

Due to the sudden rains on Wednesday afternoon, once again many areas had to face power cuts. Many sectors had to face cuts of about two to two and a half hours. There were also complaints of burning of AB cables at some places. In some places, the lights went off due to technical glitches. Apart from this, the power cuts in the rural areas also made people cry a lot. The power supply was completely disrupted in other villages including Bishnauli, Badalpur, Itahada, and Milak Lachhi. Advocate Ashish Singh, a resident of Bishnauli village, on the social media platform of the department, while tagging Energy Minister AK Sharma and the Chief Minister, complained about the non-availability of electricity throughout the day.
