Prayagraj police late night raided the flat of Mafia Ateeq located in Universal Apartment in Purana Mahanagar. There was information about the shooters of the massacre being hidden here.

Police have recovered a Land Cruiser and a Mercedes car from the premises. Prayagraj police took both cars into custody and handed them over to the metropolitan police.
