Pakistan is preparing to infiltrate terrorists along the International Border in Jammu and do nefarious acts like sending weapons from the drone before Republic Day to fuel terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. After receiving such information from across the border, the Border Security Force has intensified its border scouting operation with the declaration of high alert along the International Border in Jammu and the Jammu-Pathankot Highway.
Special blocks of BSF have been made on Himachal Pradesh-Punjab connecting with Jammu and Kashmir. A high alert has been issued on the Jammu-Pathankot highway and the number of security forces has also been increased here for tight security. BSF patrols are constantly monitoring the highway and border areas. To thwart the plans of anti-national elements, BSF, Jammu, and Kashmir Police, Army, and CRPF personnel are deployed every step of the way. The security grid along the International Border, Line of Control has been put on high alert.
Not only this, security has been tightened in the border areas of district Kathua, Samba, and all the important establishments along the highway. Continuous patrolling is being done in both areas to keep a close watch on suspicious activities. Security has been beefed up at important installations in Jammu, including the airport and railway stations. The BSF, which guards the International Border (IB) in the Jammu region, is maintaining a tight vigil. BSF has been deployed at the Himachal Pradesh-Pathankot check post in Pathankot as a tight security arrangement. Apart from this, all vehicles entering Pathankot from other areas are also being thoroughly checked.
Such strong intelligence has been received from highly placed sources that a conspiracy has been hatched by Pakistan to infiltrate terrorists in the Samba sector of Jammu. In such a situation, work is being done on a three-pronged strategy to make the enemy's move thwarted. In the sensitive areas of the border, first, the Border Security Force, followed by the Army, and in the third round, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have increased the deployment and increased the patrolling with additional checks. The help of villagers is also being taken to keep an eye on the movements of suspicious people on the border.
According to the intelligence received, at present four teams of terrorists are active across the international border in Jammu. There is strong information that these parties have also done Reiki in some areas. In such a situation, senior officers of the Border Security Force are constantly visiting the border. Along with IG DK Bura of Jammu Frontier, in addition to Border Security Force, DG NS Jamwal is also keeping a close watch on the situation on the border.
A senior Border Security Force officer told Jagran that we have made full preparations on the border to negate the enemy's move. Because of the situation arising out of the cold, all arrangements have been made to make the border safe. The spirit of the border guards is high. To make Republic Day safe, work is being done in coordination with the army and police.
At the same time, Jammu and Kashmir Police have put full force to ensure the security of Republic Day. Police DGP Dilbag Singh is accelerating the preparations by holding regular meetings. DG says that all security arrangements have been made from our side. He says that under the system of joint monitoring, the plans of anti-national elements will be foiled with strict vigilance.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the strategy to thwart the enemy by the army-security forces was made in the meeting of the Integrated Headquarters held a few days ago. Now even though the meeting of the core group at the divisional level has been postponed due to the situation arising out of Corona, the work is being done in tandem. After sharing all the intelligence received about the enemies of the country, further action is being taken by taking each other into confidence.
