Talking about parenthood, Robert De Niro said, 'I don't like laying down rules for kids, but there's no other way. And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. Everyone always wants to take the children on the right path, want them to do the right thing and want their benefit, but sometimes this does not happen. When the actor was asked about his six children, he said, 'Six, not seven.'

Taking his point further, the actor said, "I have just welcomed a baby boy." However, he did not reveal much more about the new member of his family or the mother of the child.
