The decision has been taken as Russia continues to attack Ukraine. Significantly, after the start of the war between the two countries, many companies have withdrawn their bags from Russia or have stopped Kak-Kaz for the time being.
Preparing to leave Russia
Announcing its fourth-quarter results on Wednesday, Infosys said it is not currently conducting any business with its customers in Russia and has no plans to work with them shortly. The company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and MD Salil Parekh said that the work we do is for some of our global customers that have operations in Russia. We have less than 100 employees in Russia. He said that we have initiated how can we change some of that work and how can all that happen outside Russia.

India's second-largest software services company Infosys consolidated net profit rose 12 percent to Rs 5,686 crore in the January-March quarter of the last financial year 2021-22. Apart from this, on the other hand, the company's income has also increased by 23 percent as compared to the same period last year.
The company will give 50,000 more jobs
According to a report, Infosys has hired 85,000 freshers globally in 2021-22. Apart from this, the company plans to employ 50,000 more people in the current financial year. However, the number of exits also increased during this period to 27.7 percent in the March quarter. In such a situation, the company is constantly recruiting new people.
